Graduated from Malaysia premier optometry school, University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2004 and started career with Centre for Sight soon thereafter as a practicing optometrist focusing primarily on routine and medical eye care.
Mentored by sub-specialists in ophthalmology, Vincent subsequently gained experiences in pre and post operative eye care and in the management of a vast range of optometric and ophthalmic equipments.
In 2006, he was trained in Taiwan by Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) to handle the FDA rated #1 technologically most advanced excimer laser for vision correction – VISX Star4TM IR Excimer Laser System. He had also attended numerous trainings provided by world renowned manufacturers of optical supplies.
He is now well experienced in managing keratoconus contact lens fittings, cornea cross linking, fundus photography, ocular coherence tomography, corneal topography, laser vision correction using wave scan with Fourrier software and advising patients of the choice of intraocular lens implants that correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and even the need for reading glasses following a cataract surgery.
Since 2006 he has been supervising graduating students from University Kebangsaan Malaysia and in 2007 he is also supervising graduating students from Twintech School of Optomety.
He is a commitee member of the Association of Malaysian Optometrist (AMO).
